| Colbi Technologies came together for one purpose: to make the tools to manage school constructions finances. Lettie Boggs and Larry Goshorn, both working hard at building schools, found that there weren’t any district tools for managing the finances of multi-year construction projects. Lettie’s background in accounting lead to processes tracked in a series of linked spreadsheets. Larry attended one of Lettie’s classes and combined these linked sheets into an automated workbook — and Larry writes a pretty good spreadsheet. Chuck Olsen (with over 23 years of experience in the programming field) and Lettie formed Colbi Technologies and used that automated spreadsheet as a model for developing Account-Ability, an industry-strength, comprehensive solution for planning and controlling capital-building programs. Account-Ability is now used by over sixty California school districts to manage over $16 billion in school construction. Lettie Boggs — Chief Executive OfficerLettie started working in school district fiscal and facilities departments in 1985. She’s served on boards and committees throughout California, including the Facilities R & D Committee for the California Association of Business Officials (chair), the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (board), and the Urban Disticts Committee (founding co-chair).
